Jackson - Unfortunately the whole Michael issue makes this a no-go for me
Matthew - Love this, classic, beautiful, it was nearly our choice
Phineas - As a student of psychology I can't use this as I automatically think "Gage", as in the guy who got a metal rod rammed through his skull and started behaving inappropriately after
Leo - This is ok although I think it's becoming a bit trendy.
You asked about our favourite names...Honestly, I find boys almost impossible. We were very lucky to find both a first and a middle name we could agree on (see sig!) Our other choices were Matthew and we toyed with Joseph and Marlowe. I love using surnames as first names, which is actually where Conrad came from...I thought Joseph Conrad first and only realised it was a first name anyway after.
I like some pretty "out there" names that my partner would laugh in my face about

I love Ace for a boy but it's too bold a choice for him and I didn't even mention it in seriousness.
In terms of more classical names, I love my partner's name, Jonathan, but he gets misspellings all the time. I also like Robert (Bobby)
Raphael is cool but everyone would think of the turtle.
Oh, and I like Rowan but my partner thought it was too feminine.
