fear of sickness bugs

I really need some advice - please help.

I have a terrible nagging fear of getting a sickness bug. I have a 17 month old and I'm so scared of him picking up a bug and giving it to me. I worry about it every day, its making me miserable.

Does anybody know how I can tackle this? Please help me x

hi i dont know any good advice but wanted to send a

i have a fear of sickness bugs to and if i feel a bit sick or nauseous i start to panic that it might mean im going to be sick.if my oh says he feels sick i panic that he might have a bug and pass it too me. your not alone and im sure ive read a thread along time ago on this and alot of women also have the same fear. i just tell myself that if im going to be sick then its going to happen no matter how much i worry. just reasure yourself thet it will go away and you will get through it. x

I feel the same way especially with my LO now that it's flu season. The only thing that's been really helping me is making sure I'm taking the proper steps to help prevent him from getting sick. We make sure he eats lots of fruits and veggies, we wash his hands before each meal and when we get home from being out in public (mall, park, etc), and we've been giving him Vitamin D to boost his immune system

I have this fear as well. When my oh says he feels sick I kind of freak out and when my daughter gets a bug xx
