Welcome to the new ladies. And congratulations to those who announced twins! I've read taking folic acid can increase the odds of twins. Were you twin mommas taking folic acid before getting pregnant? Curious to see if that could be why. I was taking 800 mg (might of been mcg, but whatever I was taking it was the max). I have an ultrasound on the 26th. I'll be 7w1d.

Hopefully it’s worked this time! Desire2mom do you have any other children? How are you feeling about it being a twin pregnancy I’m still in shock! And I completely get where your coming from isaac sending all my love xxx

Finally got a dark line today, 17DPO! Can’t upload a pic but it’s on a frer and the test line is juuust darker than the control! 4+3 today x

@ Lauren, I'm 4 wk 1day today. I am also planning to test until from test line is darker than control line. I'm sure that will give us some peace of mind

I haven't even called the doctors office yet to schedule any appointments.

I’ve just got home
From the hospital after being treated for hyperemesis for the past two days!

Ladies if your sickness is bad don’t suffer! I ended up on 4 drip bags, clexane injections in my tummy and extra vitamins. +4 ketones in my urine (dehydration) Got the sickness under control with antisickness and finally hope with tablets so hopefully the anti sickness continues to help!

I had hyperemesis gravidarum with my other two pregnancies, so I'm expecting it with this one from about 6+ weeks!

Hi ladies!! I found you all finally lol.. I'm due 2-22-19 with baby number 3! This is pregnancy number 4 for me I had a m/c @10 weeks prior to conceiving my rainbow daughter she just turned 1 may 24th.
I got my bfp 6-12. At 11 dpo. I just knew iwas pregnant bc of all the same symptoms I had with previous. But I am still in shock mostly because I will be having another repeat csection. And it has me so so very nervous.
I have read up on all your past posts and not sure I read about anyone having repeat c sections. I read theres twins in here. 2 sets! That's awesome. Chances of having twins increase with a mother's increase of age, the more pregnancies she has had, and inherited and ivf.
Me I am 31, pregnant with number 4 and there are twins in my family so I immediately thought about this when I found out I was pregnant again... ladies that found your having twins did this happen lol?!?

Afm. Today I am 4.2 weeks, having mild cramping, lots of pressure/ bloating feeling, decrease appetite and very fatigue.

Congrats to all the bfp and h&h 9 months.

Summer - Mine was an IVF transfer and I transferred 2 perfect hatching embryos and they both stuck! The only folic acid I have been taking is what comes in my prenatal.

Beautiful - I love that it's twins! I've wanted twins since I was little. I have moments of freakout when I think what did I get myself into. But I'm extremely excited and DH is having a blast window shopping (until we find out the sex). We're hoping for one of each so we can be done; it's been a 13 year journey. Before my appt yesterday I was a nervous wreck because I'm having such mild symptoms I was worried there was something wrong. First week or two I was exhausted all the time, and that turned into insomnia. I've been starving 24/7 and crazy constipated since the beginning. I had a week or so of nausea after eating a large meal, and maybe a day or 2 of achy and tender nipples. I've been lucky so far, but it's early.

I'm glad to hear you've been able to go home, I hope you're able to keep it under control I'm definitely in the medication is good camp, I'm waiting till the gp opens tomorrow to book a phone appointment, I'm determined to get what I need.

I'm sorry to hear that, that sounds hard, are you able to get things lined up for when it kicks in? since you've had it before they must be able to prescribe you something to have when you need it?

TB! I finally saw you are here from our other forum! I have been lurking but school and work has been keeping me busy to chat. How did your cycle go? I can't believe how perfect everything went for mine. Never had to change dosages, I had a great retrieval and transfer was smooth. Have you checked your doubling time? I use https://perinatology.com/calculators/betahCG.htm and had a 33hr doubling time. Both me and a coworker are pregnant with twins and have this same doubling time. When is your first US?

That all sounds fab! As for twins for me, they do not run in my family but hubby was a twin his mum lost his twin early on and he has indentical twin brothers. I have had a previous ‘vanishing twin’ pregnancy where there were two sacs two yolk sacs but only one baby and one heartbeat who is my jenson today! It happened for me naturally by ovulating twice in one month xx

Hopefully, I will be able to! I can't be out of action with a 3 and 5 year old! I'll have to tell the midwife when I self-refer next week. I'm on holiday in Menorca at the mo!

My cycle went so well too! I was surprised because they retrieved 33 eggs and I felt 100% fine the whole time. No dose change, nothin! My doubling time was right around 43 hours. My numbers themselves look more “average”, but my friend who did IVF and had twins had numbers lower than mine with longer doubling and they were just fine so I am hoping both mine stuck too! Congrats on your two beautiful babies!! My first us is June 27. I will Be 6w2d!

We have 2 girls and 2 boys. I kinda want to know what our little tie breaker will be but then I think, since this is our last baby I'd kinda want to wait until the baby's born. I'd always wanted a gender reveal party. I have no idea what we"ll do.

Summer2105 Because it's our last we're staying on team yellow, it'll be very hard especially as we found out with the other three but I really want to experience not knowing.


I picked up my anti nausea meds on the school run today, they really helped last time I'm hoping they work again!

Wow at all the twins!!!!! So exciting!!! I’m about 5.5 weeks yet. Haven’t been to GO yet as I’m still kind of getting my head round the whole thing. Boobs are really sore and feeling very heavy. I’m starting to feel exhausted all the time and nausea is becoming more frequent but nothing I can’t deal with for now. Currently sat poolside at my boys’ swimming Lessons nearly melting in the ridiculous heat!!!
