***February love bugs***

Glad to see your all doing great! Sorry I’ve been MIA a little bit but I’m finding it hard getting my head around doing a twin pregnancy, my previous pregnancy I had postnatal depression and anxiety and it all stemmed from my health in that pregnancy so to say I’m anxious about carrying two is an understatement! any little niggle or chest pain I panic, I feel like I’m going to be pregnant forever in this heat lol it’s 30 degrees where I am at the moment! And I’m packing the pounds I’m already today has been the first day I’ve done my hair and make up for weeks! xxx

:hugs: It's a lot to process; are you able to get counselling of any kind to help with the anxiety?
We're in for a bad heat wave for the next little bit. I'm not looking forward to it

Mum2cubs I couldn't imagine starting a new job right now (though I won't lie, I was looking for one the other day.) Sounds exhausting; hopefully things will be less hectic once the newness becomes more "routine".

This week my toddler is still in daycare because I paid for the whole month so I might as well use it. I’m rotating between guilt at sending her to daycare while I’m at home for the summer, versus being relieved that I have time to rest, sleep, and finally get my house a little cleaned up.

Get rid of that guilt! We seem to live in a society that doesn't allow for rest :p. Better for you and the growing babe!

Still not feeling great yesterday I threw up all over the living room floor  no warning just come straight up. I’m not very good at being sick either

Oh that reminded me I did that with my first in the kitchen! Step, step, blagggh

I've been really fighting throwing up so far, I know it can provide relief but I really don't like doing it. I keep soda crackers by the bed and have a couple before I even stand up.

We have a strong heartbeat <3 so over the moon!!

:happydance:

I'm 8w today and haven't had symptoms for a couple weeks now. Even in the beginning they were very, very mild and almost unnoticeable if I wasn't searching for something. I've had 2 US and both babies are doing great, just have a small SCH behind baby A that should eventually resolve. I am trying not to be paranoid about it and taking it as a blessing instead. I just need my next US on the 7th to hurry up!

mummymia - Don't worry about symptoms, our bodies respond differently to large amounts of hormones, it's completely normal not to have any, sometimes it can be worrying if you had a lot of symptoms and they completely go overnight but even that usually has a normal reason like the placenta doing more work.

Desire2Mom - Your scan is next week it'll be here before you know it!

We're having a heatwave here and it's killing me, I can't stand the heat on the school run, none of the buses have any air con it's being inside an oven, there is 0 shade on the walk or at the bus stop, I need to invest in a giant umbrella hat!

I have my booking in app on tuesday, I can't remember if they try to listen to the heartbeat which is crazy since this is my 4th! :dohh::haha:

They will not try to use Doppler to listen to baby at your stage as unlikely to hear. If you are having a scan then they might try . X

I thought as much, I remember they do at the appointment after that though. How have you been? are you having any more scans soon? :hugs:

Been trying to read along with everyone. Been super busy and with no internet even if I got the chance. We have internet at the hotel, but we are only here during the night.

Nothing much going on here. Only symptom I'm having is I'm really tired. Which is arguably normal for me! It is somewhat worse.

My oldest was cute yesterday. I was visiting a friend I haven't seen in a year since we live far away from each other. Well I asked my oldest if he wanted a baby sister or baby brother. He said "Baby sister!" Like always then points to her youngest that shares the same birthday with my oldest.. she will be turning one.. and said "That baby sister!!" Runs over to her and gently touches her and says "Awwww, I love you!" Was so stinking cute!

Isaac, been thinking of you :hugs: hope your next scan brings more reassuring news. please update us if/when you're comfortable doing so. :flower:

Our scan went perfect today! 6+4, hb detected immediately - RE said all looks great! :cloud9: next scan is July 13th!

I am off work with sickness. Taking metaclopramide like there's no tomorrow.

I'm weak and exhausted and everything is better when I'm horizontal.

So I know I said I couldn't imagine starting a new job right now...but very suddenly something fell in my lap and I guess I'm going to take it. Even with child care expenses it would still put a bit of extra money in our pocket which is needed. And it's just until the end of September (though that might get extended).
Not sure what I'm getting myself into lol

That sounds like a great opportunity! Go for it!

Baby not viable still with faint slow heartbeat but only 3mm at 8 weeks 2 days. Meds all stopped and waiting for either it to start naturally or another scan and d&c in the week. Happy and healthy pregnancies to you all! Xx
