Just wondering if u think this is normal.

Ok so Jessica gets her last bottle at approx 7:30pm before bedtime but every morning when she gets up i have a nightmare trying to get her fed. This morning for example, she has been up since 6:30am and its now 8:50am and she still hasnt had anything. As soon as i get her up i get her bottle before she gets distracted but she just pushes the bottle to the side of her mouth, she just isnt interested? She isnt crying or anything, lik eits not bothering her but do u think its weird that she goes all night then isnt interested in morning? And i know she wont take it until she tires again which will prob be about 10am! Kx

How old is she? It depends on her age really as to the replies you will get. My LO is 14 months and will happily wake at 7am and not be fed until 9am because thats what she is used to. When she was 6mos she would wake and want food right away but when she was really young she never really cried for food. She would just wait until you fed her.

I've had this 'problem', and so have several others on here! They're just not hungry in the morning sometimes. Maybe play with her for an hour or so before offering the bottle. Ruby is always awake for about an hour before she is fed. I guess it's just like most adults, we don't want a big meal as soon as we wake up...

Sam nearly always waits about an hour before I feed him in the morning. He needs a bit of time to come to first thing and then he is ready for his bottle! When he was breastfed, he would scream for food as soon as he woke so its quite nice to have a little play and cuddle first thing now.

Yeah, I think it's definitely a good thing for us too! I have to drive OH to the train station at 6.45am so it's nice not to have to feed Ruby before we leave, just roll out of bed, pop her in her car seat and head off!

She is 6 months old just now. Yeah well ive got into this habit of trying the bottle and when she wont take it i put her in her walker to use some energy lol but like this morning, she has been up for almost 3 hours now and ive just tried the bottle again and she still isnt interested. Kx

connah wakes between 6-7 and goes an hour before he has a feed,as long as she is still putting weight on thats all that matters xxx
