Feeding is such a battle :(

I just have to say that food before 1 is NOT fun....in fact, it stresses me out. Some days he won't try anything that I offer him - he'll either throw it on the floor or make such a fuss if I offer him a spoon of something. The only thing that he'll eat without question or fight is cheerios. Sorry for the rant. Just feeling frustrated.

And he fights his bottle quite a bit, too. It's just a constant struggle.

Keep going, it is a struggle at times but it will get better. Sounds like a difficult stage, sorry I don't have any advice just keep persevering and I'm sure lo will get better.

I am having the same problems with my LO. I started offering rice cereal after 4 months and he liked it. Then once he hit about 5.5 months, anytime he sees a spoon, he seals his lips shut. Just not really interested in food anymore

Oh no. DS was so good with feeding himself in the beginning. Recently we've been doing a combination of purees and finger foods. Now it's hit or miss at meal time - I never know if he's going to eat or not. DS also seals his lips shut when he sees the spoon. Good luck!
