I looked in the mirror tonight and wow I look huge! I'm only 22 weeks! I'm normally quite a slim person and I didn't put on much with my daughter. I didn't weigh myself with my daughter but I know this time I've put on a stone already. I know your second you do tend to be bigger but my god I need to do something to slow this weight gain. Anyone else feeling huge, and much bigger than first time round?

I'm starting to change my gait to accommodate the weight. Wider stances and a bit of a waddle already :dohh:

I am exactly the same hun! 22 weeks, naturally slim (UK size 10) and a stone heavier second time around now! With DD I only put on 2 stone all together so I'm trying to slow it down. Not helped by having been on holiday eating out for a week and lots of occasions involving meals out. I've now stocked up on healthy snacks and am increasing my water intake. My diet is good, I just have a big appetite. I've read sometimes a hungry feeling is actually thirst so I try to have a decent drink before I'm tempted to snack.

This is my first, and I haven't bothered weighing myself knowing I'll cry. I'm definitely the heaviest I've ever been. I was a small size 6/8 before so putting on clothes is a very frustrating time! None of my maternity leggings were dry so I put some jean/leggings on in hope they still fit a bit, and I felt horrendous and started crying and it took a while to get them back off! I ended up hair drying my leggings adament I was going to have to wear them to stop me feeling fat!

I can't wait til I'm on maternity leave so I can stay inside and wear pjs!!

I have gained almost 10 lbs... I know a lot of you ladies are from the UK and I keep meaning to look up how many pounds was a stone! Lol so Google says 1 stone = 14 lbs. Soo I haven't quite gained a stone but honestly I don't know how I haven't because I look huge! I swear it looks like I've gained 20 lbs! I just had an anatomy scan redone today, they didn't get clear enough pictures of the baby the first time so had to go back (not complaining!! :) ) and they said he weights 1 lb 1 oz. This is my second and I am already way bigger than I was with my first at 30 weeks. The weird thing is with my first I gained 17 lbs total (I had her at 30 weeks) and so far at 22 weeks I'm just about at 10 lbs and look way bigger. So it's confusing! But I also was in much better shape when I got pregnant this time so maybe that's why? Who knows. Anyway, you're not alone ladies!!

Me! Totally, I feel so gross and disgusted w myself. This is my second, and I started 10 lbs heavier than my first, I just feel so much bigger with this one!

Thank you, sorry you ladies are feeling the same but it's nice to know I'm not alone. With my first I wanted a bump so bad and everyone said I was tiny, this time everyone's saying I'm huge already. A bit worried coz I'm having a boy this time and my husband was a 13lb baby!!! Really hoping he's not big like his daddy, my daughter was only 6lbs 14. On my scan they said he was measuring fine. I had an incident of trying to squeeze into some size 10 jeggings and there was no chance :-( also a skirt with elastic waist was sooo tight. I know I need to probably eat a bit better but I can't seem to stop. I am going to try to cut back on treats now though as I think I've been going over board (I blame my husband as he's a nightmare for it)

I'm feeling huge too. 26 weeks with my second and I'm feeling a lot bigger this time around. I think last time I gained about 15 lbs total and went way overdue and I've already almost gained 10 lbs at 26 weeks!

I also feel huge!!! I no longer can wear my favourite pair of skinny jeans with an elastic band.... I feel so frumpy :( xx

Me too  I know its twins in my case, but still, I am 20 weeks not 35! And two people have said in the last 2 days "not long now" I seem to blow up more as the day goes on :(
