feel ill...........

right now im not sure if me and my boyfriend have split. we also have a daughter 6.5months. over all, he is abusive on drink and has a drinking problem, also doent do much for me, but at the weekend i go a bit insecure not his fault but a girl he had been with and she was letting me know this all night and kinda i got annoyed and took it out on him. now he thinks i dont trust him. So he is now giving me cheek and wont come home. Tho my life would be better without him in the long run, as drink is his whole life and basically his family are alcoholics its not what i want for my daughter and me.

everyone is teling me to get rid, but it will break my heart!

Well I think the only person who knows what to do is you in the end. Other people can advise or tell you about their experiences but the only person who knows how things really are is you. I was with a guy who was abusive on alcohol...which then moved onto him slamming me into a wall while sober. So from my experience I would say there is no guarantee it will stay just being while he is drunk. And also you say he is pretty much an alcoholic so he must be violent quite alot. I would say the best thing for you and your daughter is to kick him the hell out and you'd be better off without him. I know it hurts and you will feel guilty for depriving your daughter of her daddy, but hey, might be the kick up the ass he needs to sort himself out? Hope you sort things out hunni.
