I've been feeling really really crappy the past few days :(
I was in court most of last week, for those of you who don't know I was raped by my ex two years ago, finally got to court last week. It was a really stressful time and the jury returned a verdict of not guilty, which was really gutting.
I've been really concerned because I know stress isn't good for the baby, and the past few days I feel like my belly's been more achey than usual, and I've barely felt any movements or anything today or yesterday.
I've just been feeling really upset since Friday, and now I'm really worried I might have caused something bad to happen to the baby :( I've got my scan in 6 days, but it just feels like ages away, and I don't know what I should do. It doesn't seem like I should talk to my mw, especially seeing as she makes me feel pretty uncomfortable anyway.
Sorry for silly depressive rant, just feel a bit lost atm :/

Sounds like you've had a really hard time :(. Probably worth speaking to your midwife though just incase, although I'm sure everything is fine.

That's awful about the court case, I'm so sorry. :hugs:

Hmm, if you're worried I would phone your midwife, even if she makes you feel uncomfortable, or maybe you could call a different midwife? Or ask your doctor? I mean it's better to be safe than sorry, you'll be worrying about your LO if you don't do anything and will make the whole situation worse. Try to relax and in the morning if things still don't feel right, then get it seen too :)

Hope this helped.

im really sorry about what happened :( thats a terrible result from the jury.

about the baby though, i had bleeding last night and was wrongly told to go to the hospital. what is supposed to happen is go to your GP and they refer you for an emergency scan and i was told earlier that you have the right to demand this and they have to do it within 48 hours. also, if youre not happy with your midwife you can also demand the care you wish to recieve and youre perfectly within your rights to do so. i was told all of this at the hospital a few hours ago. i hope this helps and all is ok.

Thanks everyone. I'll probably call mw in the morning, and if she seems concerned I'll ask the GP for a scan. Hopefully it's nothing, but you can never be too careful! It's just because I've been more stressed than usual, I'm suddenly on red alert that it might have done something bad :/

sorry to hear about the court case :( :hugs: although it is really difficult to get a guilty sentance with that.. :( i hope you're okay, i couldn't just read and run..

and why don't you ask the midwife to just check the baby over for you, maybe using a doppler or somethinggg.. if you really don't like your midwife.. you can ask to see someone else.. and they HAVE to let you..
xxxx

The other girls have said pretty much what I was gonna but didn't want to read and run :hugs: hopefully it's nothing hun xxxx

sorry to hear about the court case and the verdict. but im sure everything is fine hun :D xx

I'm sorry about the court case, thats so wrong :hugs:
Bubs will more than likely be alright, movements are a bit all over at that stage and if you're thinking about them loads then it always seems worse. Call mw if you're concerned :hugs: xx

I can't believe about the court thing- so sorry!

Even if the verdict was horrible, I hope it helped you recover from what the ******* did to you.

Have you contacted your mw?

Thanks everyone :) Was going to contact midwife today, then OH came over and put his hand on my belly and LO magically started jumping about again! I was so relieved I nearly cried! Silly little daddy's girl/boy! xxx
