feeling a little crazy?!?

hi, this is the first time i've written on here, I just read everyone else's posts so I know i'm not alone but i finally feel like i need to join in Ive just had my first ivf treatment done and am in the 2ww and i feel like i'm going CRAZY People keep telling me to relax and not to think about it but how is this possible?! Can anyone please give me some advice on how to "relax" before i go completely insane Thank you xxxx

Nope sorry can't advise how to relax. Haven't managed myself yet.
All I can say is eveytime we speak to consultant he emphasises how powerful positive thinking is.
So just try to stay positive, eat well, drink plenty water and don't over do it.
If this helps u feel more sane, I've actually already bought baby booties. I know it crazy but never mind... X

Trying to relax is so difficult, expecially if you have been ttc for a while. I really wish I had the perfect answer but I don't. good luck, I hope your get your bfp!!!

Im in the 2ww of our first ivf cycle too!! When did you have EC? My testing date is monday so just over halfway through now.

Why dont you hop into the thread for ladies who started ivf in november ? We are al various stage of an ivf cycle but off the top of my head there are two of us in the 2ww, 2 just had egg collection today and one yesterday. We will do all we can to help pass the time in the 2ww!! I find it a good distraction my own 2ww when trying to offer support to those who are at various stages of their ivf cycle.

It really is impossible not to think about it but everytime I catch myself thinking negatively, I consciously make an effort to turn my thoughts around into positive ones. However, as for ways to not think about it, christmas is a good one. I sky plussed lots of cheesy christmas films and watch one of though if I need to stop my mind from wandering.
