Feeling a sense of.....

Calm.

I've never actually felt like this in the whole 5 months we have been apart. Normally we are rowing, fighting, arguing over something or another but actually we aren't.

I think its taken a long time to get used to it but I have finally realised that the girls are happy how things are and I don't need to fight for them with him, the more I do the more he resists. I am just going with the flow.

I'm one of the lucky ones, I have a mum, dad, brother and sister who are amazing as well as cousins, aunties, uncles who I am close to.

The girls get everything they need from both sides of the family and this makes me feel at peace with it all.

Yes! Here's to hoping!

The girls don't see FOB as much because of going to nursery and they seem more settled to because of this. Maybe its just better all round.

Glad things are going good for you atm hun

Im the same as you too, me and fob have actually been civil for the past good few weeks, and i feel so much better for it. We're on talking terms and he tells me everything she does down hes and how shes been, and he sometimes texts me and asks how she is here, instead of when she used to go down there and id wonder what she was getting up too and what he was drilling into her head ( she always used to come home and say things like ' daddy brought me this outfit, you didnt buy it my daddy did' even though he hadnt brought it :/ and it would wind me up something rotten!!

Its so much better for the kids when they know its peace all round

Its a really nice feeling to not feel so completely wound up by everything. I'm enjoying my life and its fantastic.

We even agreed to go straight down the middle with the twins uniform for nursery!
