Been ttc for 2 years. I have pcos and get periods rarely.
After ttc for 1 year doctor gave me 4 months of clomid, this did make me ovulate but no BFP. Ive now been on metformin for 6 months and having my progesterone and estrodial levels measured weekly but so far nothing! Havent had a period since the beginning of the year. Im quite over weight but have lost nearly 3 stone since last november, but still no periods. Im feeling quite depressed about it all at the moment as i have nothing to look forward to. I think in a few weeks the doctor will try me clomid again.

To make matters worse, lot of my friends are pregnant or just had babies which isnt helping. I just love chosing presents for them and wish i could buy clothes for my own baby :(

I know i still have far to go with ttc, and alot of people are further down the line after failed ivf etc but im just feeling so exasperated.

Hi hun...:hugs::hugs::hugs::hugs::hugs::hugs::hugs::hugs:...i know its so hard to go thru this.
I cant even go near children, makes me want to cry.
Did u get ur husbands sperm checked.People get pregnant on pcos too,but if the sperm does not do its job its not your fault alone.
Do you chart....just give it 3 months of charting, vitamins for oh(zinc, selenium, calcium, maca, fertilaid), use softcups to keep all the guys in,and then if it still doesnt work we can consider other options.Altleast that is what we are doing.
Just search for more info on the above stuff in this website.

im having weekly blood tests to see if anythings is happening and so far...nothing, so softcups, preseed bla bla arent going to make a difference if im not ovulating! thats the most frustrating thing about it all...

We've all been there. :hugs:

Can't really say anything of any use to you. But it will get better and you do get through these dark times.

Congratulations on your weightloss. You've done brilliantly to lose that much! :happydance:

Just read your post and whilst I don't have any advice, I just wanted to say that we all understand how difficult this whole TTC thing can be and wanted to send you hugs :hugs:

Hope you get some good news from your blood tests soon x

If its pcos, there are ways to tackle it.Like controlling diet...losing weight..drinking more water...check out the pcos thread.Dont lose heart. With pcos ov is very rare...but whenever it occurs or if the doc induces it...maybe we can catch it..:hugs:

Btw great job on losing all that weight.
