Yesterday I played what I've decided will be my last game of soccer. I was told my insurance would cover me up until 6 months if I continued to play. I got on the field and all I could think about was my little bean and that I didn't want him to get hurt. (I'm calling him a him because I'm certain he's a boy haha)
I've played soccer since I was 4, and since having my daughter it was the one thing that I did for 'me time' where I could go and socialise with adults and get some much needed exercise.
I'm devestated that I won't be playing but my partner is being very supportive and assures me that after baby is born that they'll be on the sidelines cheering me on again.
Anyone else feeling like they've lost a big part of them?
