Hello,

I noticed a sequence of cramps this evening. I am 6 weeks. I was for the most part feeling good and now I just have cramps. I cant make heads or tails of it.

Wouldn't worry about it. My wife had this bad during week 6 as well. I think it's purely down to ligaments and muscles expanding and stretching in preparation for your uterus getting bigger.

I would only be concerned if cramping was accompanied by bleeding. (But even that (spotting/light bleeding) can be a normal sign at this stage)

Its perfectly normal if its just like period cramps- but if its pain hun get checked out. New dad has got it in one hit.

NEW DAD8186: im very impressed by your knowledge wish my OH was able to do this!

Thank you all for the info.

Bests,

Marmar

Yes marman....its perfectly normal Sweetie!
I have cramps that come and go also...usually have them for a minute or so once or twice a day!

I have what I call "twinges" off and on most of the day. Not really cramps just light twinges. They started in week 5. I hear a lot of other ppl on here say they feel the same things.

Nice to see a dad on here :)

and I couldn't have said it better myself, unless it's unbearable pain accompanied by bleeding I wouldn't worry too much about it but if u still feel worried give ur doc a call.
