I was looking forward to meeting other new Mums, making friends and joining in lots of activities with my Lo but all my baby clinic offers is a baby massage class which there are only 3 classes of (and 2 have already taken place) after this I'm told there's no other activity classes taking place. I popped into my local library to find out about Mother and toddler groups and was only told about their story time sessions.
I'm surprised at the lack of support and activities that I receive, I have not seen or heard from my HV for a month now, is this typical or should I still be in some kind of contact with her? I'm beginning to wonder if my LO and I have somehow 'slipped through the net'????

Have a look on your council website, they often have lists of local organisations that include mother and baby groups etc.

Is there a baby cafe near you?
www.thebabycafe.co.uk

I go to our local one and it is fab. Not only do you get to meet loads of people, but you also get to hear about what else is on around and about.
Hope you manage to find something hun x x
