Feeling poorly

This is just a bit of a woe me post but my goodness I have felt so poorly the last few days I'm feeling very sorry for myself.

Off to the docs later just to confirm its nothing more than a virus but I have the most awful sore throat (feels like I'm swallowing razor blades), a fever of 38.5, alternating between sweats & shivering, headache, stuffy nose & just generally achy all over.

I've had hardly any sleep since Sunday but luckily DD has been amazing today, kept herself amused whilst I led on the sofa & is currently led next to me in bed napping (very rare!)

I'm taking regular paracetamol & gargling with warm salt water but hoping the doctor might be able to suggest something stronger.....
