So in the past three months, I have been trying to take a laid back approach to TTC. Still nothing. Laid back meant even not getting on here as often, but as I logged on today, I found that ALL of my previous TTC buddies and other ladies I was following have gotten pregnant. I'm sure you can see how this would be a huge downer. I am ecstatic for any woman to get pregnant, because I think its a beautiful thing, and I'm over the jealousy stage. I just want to know WHY I can't do the same. So far, I know I have ovarian cysts. That dr said "it may or may not cause infertility" (among other idiotic things) and did no further testing. Now I've switched drs and my new one refuses to do any further testing other than a thyroid (havent gotten a call back yet) and pregnancy test until we've been TTC for a whole year. Problem is, my husband is military, and in our entire relationship we have never had an entire year together to try for a baby. We get months at a time, and these past 10 months have been the longest we've had together "uninterrupted". They won't even give him a sperm test. He's leaving again soon, and then we're back to square one-again. Today marks CD40 for me out of an average 33 day cycle. FMU this morning tested BFN on CB Digital. I have been super tired lately, but I feel no AF symptoms or PG symptoms. I am losing my mind. I am in need of some kind of encouragement or success stories similar to my situation....just SOMETHING positive. Although...a BFpositive would be nice:blush:

im so sorry you're feeling down :( I can (and i'm sure a lot of other ladies here) can understand why you're feeling this way. Its easy to look around and get frustrated and a bit jealous at seemingly everyone else having babies. I also understand the difficulty with your husband since mine is also in the military, it complicates it for sure. I really am hoping you get your BFP soon :hug

:hugs: I understand how frustrating it can be....I don't understand why the doctors aren't more sympathetic to your situation, there must be many couples with similar struggles, I'd have thought there would be more support for people who already give so much of themselves.
I'm keeping my fingers crossed for you, the late AF could still be a sign of pg even without other symptoms. I've posted in the past about my best friend (also a military wife, btw) who had two false BFNs... didn't know she was pg until into her 5th month. I hope it's something similar for you!!!
:dust:

No wonder you're venting! Do you feel better for getting it all out?

It is tough plastering on the happy smile when you're feeling low (no matter how genuinely pleased you are) and goodness knows I know that well.

AF was due on the first, I did a HPT on Sunday and got a BFN, have been feeling all sorts of symptoms for a week now :-/ no sign of AF and I'm fed up. Was persuaded to test again in a few days but im not sure I can bear another big fat nothing :(

I feel much better getting it out, thanks! and i really hope i eventually get a BFP this month!!! and the rest of you also:)

hun, i'm in the EXACT same boat. we've been TTC for a while (though less than a year) and are getting the same help from the military docs - that is to say, NONE! they gave us a 12 month time frame, too, but realistically, what military couple is together for a full 12 months?? TTC is just one thing you can't fix with 800mg of motrin, so it's like they don't even try. :sigh:

sending you as much :dust: as i can muster up and keeping my FX'd for you! :flower::hugs:
