I am due to get my appointment through for the fertility specialist any day but I have been feeling REALLY low the past month or 2, worse than normal and I thought I could maybe go and see the doctor about it. but do u think it's pointless when I might be seeing the specialist soon? Should I maybe mention it to them instead? Then again, what could the doctor or specialist actually do? Im so confused and I can't get my head straight at all, it's really affecting my whole life, especially work :(

I suppose I am looking for a bit of advise for guidance and maybe even to see if anyone else is in a similar situation x

Depends on what you mean by low? Are you refering to feeling depressed???? if that is what you mean then you can go see your regular doctor about it. They are qualified to evaluate and treat you for depression. My fiance was diagnosed and treated through his gp.
I wouldn't ask the specialist about that though... that's not really a fertility specialist "thing".

The other thing to keep in mind is if the reason you are feeling so low is because of not concieving yet, that you may very well bounce back on your own. I know they say that depression pills shouldn't really harm a fetus but I don't know that I would go there if you don't have to...

I hope you are feeling better soon either way!!!
and lots of sticky :dust: for you!!!!

If you need to talk about anything you can either send me a private message on here or email me.... [email protected]
I'm not licensed YET but I am going to school for counseling. I won't take it personally if you don't!

It's all mainly coz off TTC. I just cry constantly, don't have any energy for things and I think TTC is taking over my life. I have really relaxed it all compared to how I was and I only use opks now and I only use them every other month at the moment.

I don't think I'm depressed, I just want to be back to feeling like me again. I'm sick of pretending to be happy infront of everyone.

I think I will maybe speak to my OH about how I'm feeling when he gets home coz I try to hide it from him too but maybe I just need to be honest.

Sorry for rambling, suppose this is just my way of vocalising how I feel without feeling like I will be judged or laughed at.

Thanks x x x

i hoep you feel better!!:hugs: try making some time for you and to do some things YOU love, and maybe once you get your fertility appointment and they start something for you, it may help and get your hopes back up. we all get those feelings no and again, and it does help venting about it on here!:hugs:

I'd go to your doc and just talk. I am going to do the same myself this week as feeling down. Takes it toll on you. We have been ttc our first for 32 months with two losses now and i'm losing hope!

I hope you get a bfp real soon

x

I phoned the doctor so I have an appointment on Wednesday. Thanks everyone x x

Hugs hunny. Maybe you should run it by the specialist. I actually just had my appt and when I told her about my sadness she told me it was due to my PCOS and the hormone imbalance. Idk if that's what you have, but it never hurts to talk it out with a professional. I also do acupuncture and it really helps calm my nerves. Maybe give that a try? I really hope you feel better. I'm here if you need to talk. <3

I went to my doctors appointment today and talked things through with the doctor. She was really nice and we just chatted and thought of a few ways to try to perk my mood a bit. I have to try them and then go back next week to speak to her again.

She said that how I am feeling is totally normal with everything thats going on x
