Feeling very scared!

Today I went to the doctor after being on antibiotics for a week due to suspected chest infection.

Turns out, it could be way worse and I am 26 weeks pregnant.

I have started coughing up blood clot type things (sorry for tmi). They are going to investigate, either Whooping cough or 100 day cough which could be dangerous for bubs if i still have it during birth, or I have a PE - which turns out is a Pulmonary embolism, which means a blood clot in my lung.
Pneumonia has been ruled out, but I still require a chest xray, which might happen this afternoon......

I am scared and wonder if anyone else has experienced either of these things during pregnancy? Or know of anyone else who has......

Thanks hun.

Getting a whole bunch of tests done and now waiting for results. I used to smoke a long long time ago and I guess you start thinking the worst - maybe those 'fun' teenage years are now catching up on me.
Things are not looking good but I guess i just have to roll with it!
