Femara question

Hey

I just started my first round on Femara (50mg) after 3 rounds of clomid (2x 50mg 1x 100mg). I started on Monday (CD3) and today is CD7 I'm still bleeding and have lower back pain, as well as hot flashes is this common? has anyone else that has been on or is on Femara experienced this? Also, I'm EXTREMELY tired like fight to keep my eyes open type of tired.

I had a lot of side effects from the clomid and I heard Femara is supposed to be more gentle with less side effects

Hi! I take Clomid now, but I never really had any side effects at all with the Femara. I usually took it at night before I went to bed though. If you're not doing that already, I would recommend giving that a try. Hopefully others on here will have some more insight for you. Good luck!

I am assuming you mean 5 MG of femara? I get some cramps while taking femara, but its not unbearable. And yes I get the hot flashes and sleepiness lol. I remember the first cycle of it I posted somewhere else about it and sure enough others get that side effect too.

Good Luck with the femara, it has helped me O very regularly! Way better than clomid (for me.)
