This is my first month on femara and I done cd 3-7 of 5mg and I am now on cd8 I do have PCOS and I have not had much cramping at all and I am soo scared that the meds are not working. Have any of you taken femara and not cramped after taken it and still had good follicles I am driving myself crazy I have been ttc for 7 years and I am just scared it is not going to happen if you ladies would not mind please share your story of femara thanks so much...I just want that :bfp:

I have done a total of 2 cycles so far. Both 5 mgs, both for CD2-7. The first time I had pretty bad AF cramping that seemed to linger alot longer than my normal. It was slightly different than my normal af cramps, this was a burning in my uterus type pain. I started noticed little "zaps" in my ovaries every now and then. It was not painful, just little pin prick type feelings every so often. And I think that started somewhere around CD10 or so? I started feeling actual O pains about 2-3 days or so before O. It started with a heavness in my sides and back, and escalated to very painful stabbing pain in my side. I O'd on CD16, and CD15 each time.

I hope that helps! I am about to start my third cycle when AF shows and I have also been TTC for 7 years. I am debating increasing my dose to 7.5 mgs even though I have O'd on the 5 mg dose. Good luck, if you need any company let me know and we can commiserate together!

I didn't have very much cramping or anything with the femera....clomid was horrible!! Clomid always made me feel pregnant. But I never ovulated on clomid...femera I have got some good sized follicles and I ovulated with it. Its great having no symptoms and all that like clomid :)

Btw there is a femera group on here if you'd like to join :)
