So, I'm pretty certain I'm not alone in saying that TTC is messy business! We ladies need all the help we can get staying clean... However, we also don't want to pose ANY threats to conception...

What do you ladies think of feminine wash? Is it safe for TTC? What kind do you use if you use any?

Thanks :flower:

Iv never realy heard of femanine wash, is it a specific product or do you just mean femanin hygene in general?
You need to be carfull with soaps down there because yoi dont want to alter your ph ballance too much

I've actually been wondering the same thing, JhartsBaby.

I've never been a fan of them. I feel that they can disrupt the natural "balance" in there... whether or not your TTC. If your body can handle keeping it clean on its own, I say stick to natural. After BDing, I give myself a rinse down there in the shower (with soap... exterior only), put a pantyliner in and I'm good to go. I don't feel icky.

I'm not sure how it would affect TTC. I guess I wouldn't be a big problem since the sperm are well on their journey shortly after ejaculation. The sperm that make it are already through the cervix. To be safe, I wouldn't do it immediately after. I'd probably wait an hour at least.

I've been wondering the same!!! I use femfresh, but not sure if that will adjust my ph as its meant to be same ph as there anyway?? Xxx

I use femfresh too as it doesn't alter the PH.

But I don't understand why anyone would worry about it affecting TTC. You're washing externally so it's not an issue

I use femfresh too, better than when i was using normal soap or shower gel there :flower:

I use fem fresh.... as normal shower gels ect alter ur ph balance which can cause thrush and bactrial vaginosis i think fem fresh leaves you feeling cleaner down there and the plus its not soap and has no fragrance x

Fem Fresh seems to be the winner! Thank you ladies for sharing that with me :)

I am prone to yeast infections because of my Diabetes. Some may think it is gross...but I only use warm water..No soap..no feminine wash. I find even using certain soap I use to wash my body can sometimes flare up a yeast infection. So I def don't use it. It messes with PH.

I use avon's feminine wash as it is ph balancing and i dont use it every time, maybe once or twice a week x

feminine wash is okay..but douching and that kind of stuff i would avoid...IMO..

Thats not one bit gross! I do the same thing, because all soaps that I've used (thus far) cause burning :(

However... I haven't tried the feminine wash yet, hence this poll and thread :)
