Fertile cm and open cervix but no temp spike?

Hey everyone,
Just wanted to see if anyone has experienced having very fertile cervical mucus and an open cervix but haven't had a spike in temp? This month is very strange as I don't normally ovulate till days 17-19 but I noticed my mucus and it was very stretchy.. sorry tmi.
Has anyone had this brfore?

Is it possible you haven't ovulated yet? I did once yet loads of EWCM really early (CD10) for several days, but then nothing happened and it seemed to dry up. I don't check my cervix. Then it came back around day 15 and I ovulated day 16 as usual. I got pregnant with my first that cycle. So it's definitely possible to have waves of what seems like fertile cm, but ovulation is still delayed. If you think it's likely to still happen, I would keep an eye on it.

Oh thank you so much mindutopia. I really appreciate it. I think that's what's happening. I seem to be getting a slow positive opks.. fingers crossed it's coming back around!
