This is probably a silly question but I'm new here and still learning! How do u know if your eggs are fertile? Do hospital do a blood test? I've been test for ovulating and progesterone but I was just wondering about being fertile?
I'm not sure exactly what you mean by your eggs being fertile?
Do you mean are your eggs capable of being fertilized?
If so then the tests for that would only really be a sperm analysis to indicate if the sperm are likely capable of fertilising or for actual confirmation going through an IVF cycle - that's the only confirmation you can have that sperm are capable of penetrating and fertilizing you eggs.
I don't think there's really a test for that. Like the other user said, once you start going for IVF (hopefully it doesn't come to that) they will try and get the eggs fertilised. If they don't then they may investigate why. Its assumed the younger you are the best possible quality of your eggs. That's all I know.
