Fertility specialist

Hi ladies

I'm not sure if I belong here yet?? I have been TTC for 18 months now and for me it seems a looooong time

We had a miscarriage last Nov and have had no luck since

We have had day 21 bloods and a SA done and all have been fine.

The doc has now referred us to the fertility specialist at the hospital and I was just wondering what to expect??

Sorry to hear about your m/c - I know how soul destroying it is.

After I was referred to the consultant we had more blood tests taken and then had a HSG. As everything was fine, I'm afraid we then had to go away and wait. I'm just about nearing the end of our three years and so will hopefully be put on the IVF waiting list next year.

If they find something wrong, they will try to treat it and if not probably refer you for IVF. Even if they, don't find anything wrong, some doctors give people clomid (which stimulates the ovaries).
