If you did a medicated cycle, how long does your RE plan to keep you on your meds?

My RE keeps her IVF patients on their meds until they reach 10 weeks.

I haven't reached the point where mine gives me the coveted date that I can stop the dang meds but last time it was 10 weeks.

I was released to my OB after 8 weeks, and told to continue the progesterone and estrogen until week 9. I finished out what I had, probably went over a few days.

They want us to continue until the placenta can take over the hormone controls, which is roughly weeks 9-10.

Thanks ladies! I am taking my meds until 10 weeks as well, just feeling funny about taking meds now that I am actually pregnant. I'm sure it's fine, but doesn't feel awesome. This is new to me, with my fresh cycle there were of coarse a lot of meds and injections but that was all leading up to the pregnancy, not while actually being pregnant. Even the progesterone they took me off after my second beta because my levels were high so I didn't need it.
