FET while breastfeeding - I need a cycle buddy!

So, my doctor doesn't know this but I'm doing an FET while nursing. I've researched a LOT about the issue and the medications, checked with the pediatrician and I'm good to go. I would love a cycle buddy (or buddies) to compare notes to.

My doctor is against it, he says it reduces the chances of success and itll affect the baby because the drugs go through the milk. I spoke with the pediatrician and we're cleared there. As for the chances of success being reduced not all doctors believe that and there are doctors that dont require weaning and have good success rates. Lactation impedes pregnancy because most women don't ovulate when breastfeeding but as we know that's not a requirement for FETs. Age and egg quality are more important.

My protocol is:
- BCP
- Estrace
- Medrol
- Doxy
- Progesterone in oil

The only change Im making is the bcp because I'll be taking the minipill instead. Whats your protocol like and what did your doctor say?

I'm not up to be same stage as you get - just planning, info gathering, etc but would love to offer my support and also follow your story.

I plan to nurse while pregnant even though my FS is not for it - my cycle will be a natural FET cycle but I'll have to take progesterone supplements like I did with my DS.

So, when are you thinking of getting started? My first day of bcp is today and Im having second thoughts...

Im afraid of drying out and also of not being able to handle it in case I get twins... MY baby is 8 months old. I dont want to hurt him by drying out, or not having time for him if I end up with twins...

Ive done lots of research and Im OK taking the drugs (the pediatrician also cleared it) and breastfeeding while pregnant (specialists say theres no risk to the pregnancy) ... its the impact that it could have on my son that is getting to me...
