Hey ladies to u that are formula feeding!! do u feed ur LO even if they dont moan for a bottle?? My little one normally goes 4 hrs and lets me no its been 4 hrs lol!! but sometimes she doesnt is it best to leave her till she lets me no? or give it her after 4hrs anbyway??

Ruby never moaned for a bottle so yeah, I just fed her roughly every 4 hours in the day.

Jess is still small and taking small amounts and I have been thinking the same, I think im going to try and feed her every 3 hours during the day whether she asks or not and when she starts taking 150mls I make leave every 4.

how much is she drinking / how much does she weigh ??

I feed him when i can tell hes ready - i tried feeding him before he moans and he just plays with the bottle lol

i can normally tell before the full blown hissy fit as he starts doing this panting noise and hes arms and legs go all over the place!

I feed every 4 hours if he hasn't asked for it before.

shes drinkin 4-5oz and she weighed 12lbs 14oz last week (9lbs 14oz born)

Anna was never a hungry girl and like your LO she never cried or gave us any indication that she was hungry.

We fed on demand at the start but if it got to 4 hrs and she had not had a feed then I would offer her a feed:flower:

she is doing well then !!! am not sure what the correct way to do it is:shrug:i was trying to feed on demand but I have noticed that she isn't always asking for it and imo goes too long sometimes, I feed on demand at night but think during the day I will stick to times, then at least I know whats going on so I can plan things

Always fed lo every 3 - 4 hours. Usually 3 hours as he'd start getting cross after that :)

I let Lewis tell me when he's hungry. If I give him his bottle when he's not quite ready he just spits the bottle straight back out his mouth

My Lo never cried for a bottle once he got beyond a few weeks really. He's very much a creature of habit so I offer feeds at roughly the same time every day and always have. (except in the first few weeks when I think I pretty much just fed him constantly!) He will only get a bit grumpy if a feed is really over due.

Sometimes LO cries for it, sometimes he doesn't! So I just feed him every 4 hours roughly :)

I also used to feed on schedule. He never cried for food, this is wy we have to stick to a feed every 4 hrs. xx

I feed her every four hours.
f she is hungry & crying for a bottle after 3 hours I feed her early.

Sometimes she goes 5/6 hours when she's sleeping, so I leave her to it (:
She sleeps through the night, so goes up to 12 hours without a bottle.

during the day we roughly stick to 4 hours because this is usually when Lucy wants her bottle, although if she's hungry before the 4 hours I feed her, she doesn't usually cry for her bottle she just gets really wriggly and you just know that she's hungry, if she didn't want her bottle she wouldn't take it. She doesn't wake up at night for anything let alone a bottle lol :D

I dont wait till Jess cries for a bottle, i`ll just give her one every 3 - 3.5 hours anyway.

I feed on demand. Right now LO is sleeping through the night and will wake at around 10am for a feed, usually around 6-7oz then he goes back to sleep for about another 5 hours and will wake for another feed of around 4-5oz.

I dont wake him to feed anymore, he usually will go around 3-6 hours before he lets me know hes hungry! He drinks about 4-6oz at a time. I just make sure he gets his recommended amount for the day :)

I was waking him every 3-4 hours up until just before last week and it turns out I was over feeding him and thats why he was so fussy all the time, I was giving him a tummy ache :(

Laila never cried for a bottle, she was fed every 3-4 hours xx

Yup same here!

My LO was takng 5 oz every 3 hours, now 6 oz every 3.5 - 4 hours, but if he's not ready for it I don't force it otherwise he's just sick!

Our LO is pretty good at starting to moan at the 3 hour mark. During the DAY we would wake him up to eat at that 3 hour mark for the first several weeks...however I started to wonder if he sometimes eat out of habit so recently I've started waking him up to ensure he doesn't sleep more than 3 hours in a stretch during the day, then I try to engage him in other activities (singing, cuddling etc) until he starts to show hunger cues or moan with nothing else settling him but food....which still remains right around that 3 hour mark (from the start of one feed to the beginning of the next) - though sometimes he doesn't make it that long :baby: We let him sleep as long as he likes at night - he is just starting to make it 4-5 hours after his last feed (from the start of oneto the beginning of the next), then 2.5-3hours thereafter again.
