shes 14lb 14oz and is following her little line perfectly in the book. after all the crap i went through im glad shes finally evening out.

on another note ive asked the HV to refer Ffion to the eye specialist about her eye problems because it isnt going away

She's coming on a treat!!! Have they said what they thing the issue with her eye is?? I meant to ask you yesterday but it was all a bit crazy!! x

we went to see a dr who told me it was a cyst and gave me some eyedrops, the eyedrops didnt work so i went back to the drs, we saw my regular dr that time *who is possibly the worst dr ever* who told me it looked like shed bumped her eye and it would go away on its own.

now shes had this from birth so i know she hasnt just bumped it! so i mentioned it again to the HV today, who also agreed that she wasnt happy with the assumption that whatever it is will just 'go away'. shes very worried about sight problems and even brain problems if whatever it is pushes again her eye.

so shes gonna make a few phone calls to the eye hospital a few towns away and see if she can get us an appointment.

I did notice it yesterday Tez. They like to give the old 'it'll go away on it's own' diagnosis dont they. It's not good enough is it. Like you said, the bump may well be harmless but you need to know its not causing a problem by just being there.

im glad they are following it up now, better late than never! they say the actual bump/cyst is harmless but its WHERE it is that is causing concern, if it gets bigger then god knows what could happen...

plus its the first thing people ask when they meet her 'whats wrong with her eye!' makes me feel a bit people have even said 'aw she'd be pretty if it wasnt for her eye'

id hate to have her grow up with it.. in a world where everybody is made to feel like they should be perfect it will be difficult for her to be different to others
