Birth story

Will start from when I stopped texting updates through

12.15 – went for a walk
1.00 – contractions one min apart and really unbearable, got checked over and wasn’t dilating, got very frustrated and kept bouncing on my ball. Was sending Colin shitty text messages lol
1.40 - the nurse ran me a bath and helped me get in but as soon as I did I knew I needed to get out and go to the labour suite. They didn’t believe me but checked me over (now 2am) and I was 4cm dilated.
2.00 – they rang Colin and took me to delivery suite
2.10 – started on gas and air
2.15 – Colin arrived
2.20 – waters broke
2.25 – Ffion arrived into the world weighing a perfect 7lb 7oz

She came out in 2 pathetic pushes from me… really all I did was lie on the bed and she did everything else!!!
