Quite a combination of unfortunate factors for me. I have lots of intramural fibroids, which may or may not have caused my infertility in the first place, but in April 14 I fell pregnant first time after IVF number 4. Unfortunately I lost my bean at 18 weeks on the 5th August

I am waiting for a Gynae appointment (NHS) in September to discuss my fibroids and the management of them, from brief talk to him (gynae) on the phone I think he may insist on myomectomy. The reason is that they have grown drastically during pregnancy. Again though there is no proof that they have played a role in the loss of my precious gift.

My RE (different clinic, private) thought that myomectomy would be risky and advised against it (when I was IVFing).

I would like to ask anyone who had fibroids and miscarriage, were you advised a myomectomy, did you have it, did your fibroids grow during pregnancy, how, why, what, so many questions, all individual I know but any advice is appreciated now.

I want to go for another IVF as soon as possible, perhaps it isn't the best idea as I do need to recuperate, but I feel like even being given this hope for pregnancy will cure me.
