File to large?

Hi,
I am trying to upload a photo from my iPhone but every time I try it says file to large?
Any ideas?

It usually means that your picture has too high pixels/resolution/etc. When that happens i just upload to a place like photobucket and then C+P the link to add it to the post im trying to show the pic at.

Sorry, very new to all this x
I thought it was said on here that if you had iso6 then you could upload direct from iPhone? How do I resize photo before uploading it?
