Hi--it took me a while to get around to posting here.
I was told I was infertile for 12 years. My husband and I sought the advice of a specialist who gave me a hysterosalpingogram and some vitamins and we conceived the following week! I gave birth, a week overdue, this April to a beautiful boy who is healthy and happy.
We conceived again in late June and were overjoyed. At 20 weeks, my water broke. Because the baby was only subsisting in her own urine, and there was no guarantee that she would survive or be okay if she did, I opted to be induced.
We were told that it was likely she would die in utero. If she hadn't, they said it was 99% certain she wouldn't survive the birth. Amazingly, she survived 2 hours on her own and passed while her daddy was singing to her on November 17 of this year.
This is my first Christmas as a Mom, but I'm having great difficulty in enjoying it. This isn't at all what I thought it would be.
