OK we are not telling anyone in our lives the baby's name until the baby is born, but I think it's ok to get opinions from strangers on the internet! We are team yellow these are our final boy and girl names:

Isla Wren Eustace for a girl.

Elliot Owen Eustace for a boy.

I know a lot of people hate Wren, but I think it sounds so pretty when said together with Isla.

Eustace is my surname, and since OH and I have different surnames we decided to use my surname as the baby's second middle name and then the baby will have my OH's surname. I know Eustace is an old fashioned English boy's name, but do you think it's ok to use for a girl's second middle name as well?

Love your names, especially Isla Wren, such a beautiful name :)

Thank you! Not that I really care that much if people don't like my baby names, but that is the name I was worried about getting the most criticism for. To be honest, I don't love the name Wren on it's own, but I love it paired with Isla!

I usually prefer Wren for a boy but Isla Wren does go quite nicely and strikes a good balance. :)

I also like Elliot Owen and I think Eustace works fine for both boy and girl.

Love the names. In regards to your surname as second name in Spain it is tradition for all children to take their mother's maiden name as their second or even third name etc and they're often masculine names like Gonzalez etc. I think it's completely fine for a girl as there's a reason behind it x

Both names are beautiful- very musical! I personally like Eustace in the girl's name. I think it's is perfectly fine- gender neutral surnames are the "in" thing anyway!
