Finally did it - I gave concentrated formula without water

I feel so awful. I have concentrated formula that is liquid, I mix it half half with water. Tonight we were out and I had a bottle warmed it up and fed my boy. He ate it and was still hungry. My husband asked why I o ly fed him 3 oz when he always gets six. My stomache dropped when I realized that I gave him just the concentrated formula without the water!

I tried giving him three oz of water after bt he didn't want it. Since then he had one more feed but he only took 4 oz ( not six). Then it was bed time.

I hope he's ok? Anyone else do this? I feel stupid and really bad to make such a mistake.

We dont make bottles like that in the uk. The only worry would be dehydration, perhaps try again with water if he seems unsettled. Easy mistake to make though, if it makes you feel any better I just gave LO in my sleepy state a mouthful of formula straight from the fridge. His face said it all! yawn
