I have had hip problems in the past and a surgery when I was 18. It always has given me problems and I have had really bad SI joint instability. Pregnancy was HELL there were times where I physically couldn't walk.
So fast forward to now and I still have problems, big suprise, huh? My lower back hurts, sometimes I cannot walk well, and my tailbone pops.
I saw a sports medicine Dr. because they deal a lot more with function and it went well! He believed me and had 2 other Drs take a look with him.
He said the surgery I got at 18 should have never happened on someone so young. (hindsight IS 20/20 )
And Next month I will be getting flouroscopic guided SI joint injections of steroids and anesthesia as a diagnostic/treatment.
I am so nervous and excited as odd as that sounds. This is IN THE FACE of any doctor that shrugged me off.
Anyone else have any experience with SI joint dysfunction?
