Hi ladies, well had a m/c at 5weeks on the 12th March, cycles before m/c were every 29 days, first period after m/c was 34 days, and its extremely painful and pretty heavy. Is it normal to have a painful period after a m/c. I'm usually sore for the first day then fine for the remaining 3days. Yesterday i started with brown discharge, by bedtime was red, and today its heavy.

arrived started off brown discharge like you and today so heavy!with clots sorry tmi. I had a prev mc at 7 wks 2 yrs ago and from what I can remember that was pretty heavy too and painful (although I've got endometriosis so bad anyway) but think it calmed down on 2nd af.
