Just wanted to say YAY!! Let's hope my energy and slight ickiness goes away soon!

When did everyone start to feel better?

Honestly, I'm still waiting on a second wind. I have got constant fatigue but luckily my sickness ended around 16-17 weeks.

Ditto the ppers, I'm still completely exhausted all the time. I wish I could nap right now...lol. MS did getting better for me around the same time as Wanna, 16-17 weeks. Sorry!

Have yet to find mine! I'm only 13 wks though....I feel like with my previous pregnancies I didn't feel that relief until late second trimester/ early third.... And that's prob only more from the excitement of baby coming soon and the need to get things in order and prepared!

I still get tired very easily, but I now have a little bit more energy now than I did throughout the first trimester. (I was on progesterone until 13 weeks, so that made things worse for a bit.) Unfortunately, it was only very recently (~17.5 weeks) that I started to feel human again, and not constantly sick!

(although, if I don't rest up now and overdo it, I start to feel bad again. The sickness has been replaced by bad stretching pains / backaches, but that's better than nausea/dizziness!)

My ob said it's 16 weeks for most women, if that helps...

Thank you everyone.... I am trying to remember when I started to feel better with my DD, but I can not remember. I know it was sometime in the the second trimester though. Here's hoping to sometime very soon!!

I'm wondering this too! I'm finding my morning sickness is getting worse not better, really hope I start feeling somewhere near normal soon!

At about 15-16 weeks I started to feel human again this last week I have had more energy and been able to start cooking again!

Hey hun and welcome. Honestly I'm still always tired and every now and the I get a second wind lol.

Do you ever lose your strong sense of smell ladies? I think that is the one thing that is still making me feel icky, the smell of certain things. If I could smell normal I think I would feel ok, just no energy.

Oooh that's crummy that it seems to be getting worse... Maybe it's just a bad week or something. I hope it goes away for you soon!!

Welcome to motherhood where the exhaustion never ends.
I still have a highly sensitive sense of smell and gag reflex and still sick about 1-2 times a week. Plus headaches now :-(
Xx

No second wind here... But seriously these kids exhaust me before adding in pregnancy xx

It was around 14/15 weeks for me before I felt a lot better.

Yes, my gag reflex is terrible right now. I gag for no reason a lot of the time. I hope you start to get better soon!

this was difficult for me too. The strong sense smell is still around at 19 weeks but the same smells don't make me as sick as they used to. For example: for the longest time hubby went without coffee at home as the smell made me sick, now I can handle the smell ok so hubby can have his morning coffee. :) its still very strong smell to me but its not as nauseating

My sense of smell has gotten a lot less sensitive since about 20 weeks. I used to throw up every time I smelled ranch dressing but now I can actually start eating it again. I still gag really bad with certain smells at work but I do work as a CNA in a hospital so I deal with poo and pee a lot! I have to hide my face when I'm forcing myself not to throw up when I'm giving a patient care. It is so embarrassing lol

Thanks it's so random, going in the freezer set me off, I had dh clear it out so I didn't need to dig around to see what's in there and look for anything smelly but it doesn't smell :-(
Last week it was a punnet of lovely ripe strawberries which smelled so bad I had to throw them out yet I've been loving them up til then.
At least I'm back on tea (not coffee though unless iced) as no hot drink in the morning was awful for me.
Xx
