Finally took the plunge...Hi everyone!

A little about me...
Well, I have been visiting this website for about a year and a half and have finally taken the courage to become a member. The whole new year thing somehow giving me the courage to do it. Might sound very strange but felt that by not joining the fact we where finding it hard to concieve wasnt really happening to us.
Well, it is!! I also spotted the new thread with BFP announcements and thought to myself one day I will be on there - so here goes nothing...

thanks.. I already feel more positive about the whole thing and somehow a bit more in control...think that has been the bit that I have found most difficult about the whole TTC journey so far. But new year and all that... going to keep myself positive!!

We have been trying for just over a year and a half - although it feels so much longer than that!
I have had my bloods taken and HSG exam (they have said everything is fine, which is great of course but makes things very frustrating)
My husband has had his sperm test and the doctor said everything is fine. We have been told to keep trying...I know things could be much worse and really feel for everyone who is having harder times, kind of feel a bit of a fraud (another reason for not coming on the forum - but realising now that my journey has also been hard)
Sorry about being on such a rant - not like me at all (probably very cathartic though!!)

Hey hun you seem like your in the same boat as me, we have been ttc for 15months, I have had bloods,HSG all fine, DH's sperm is fine,so its left as unexplained,which is soooo frustrating!!

at least we are not alone...already feeling so much more positive about it all. When is you next meeting with the FS. Ours is in Feb, not really too sure what is the next step...probably just keep trying I suppose?!

Welcome to the forum were you will get loads of support. We have our first meeting with FS at local hosp on 19th Jan and I am expecting the HSG next and then if all ok I will be pushing to get referred to fertility hospital to get ball rolling. We have now been trying since Aug 07 and it feels like a lifetime.........

Me and DH are in the same boat as you - bloods, semen analysis and lap & dye all ok. Brilliant, but very frustrating. Our follow up appt is 12th Jan. Dunno what's going to happen though!!

Hi Clara - like you I have decided to take the plunge to join - new year new attitude. Just about everyone seems to be pregnant except me. I need friends who understand that getting pregnant is not easy. We've been trying for a baby for over 3 years now and have been 'lapped' by so many friends, some have even had or are expecting their second child in the time we've been trying.
