First appointment advice

Ok, I'm FINALLY going for my first FS visit...its just a consult....all my previous testing was done by my obstetrician...any advice???
What should i expect??? My FS is three hours away, anyone know how often I will have to drive there? I'm super nervous and want to make sure I cover everything during the initial visit!! please help!! Thank you in advance...

I suggest you write down all your questions and take notes. Because ou will be nervous and will forget to ask. Questions to ask:

- what he thinks of your diagnosis
- what he thinks is the next logical step
- what if that doesnt work

Make sure you bring all your paperwork from your OB.

You might even call ahead and see if they can just request the records from your OB? Or take them with you as advised above...

I was full of questions, but once the FS told all she had to say... she pretty much answered them all. She just went through step by step how it all works... and what our options were. It was very informative.

3hrs away is a bit of a drive... and I had to go in for several tests. Blood work, scans, more blood work... but maybe ask if there is anywhere you can have most of that done around where you live? So you don't have to travel so much? Even though I'd had tests done with my OB, they still wanted to do them at their lab as it's more accurate for fertility testing and run additional tests. But I'm sure they will work with you so you don't have to travel too much
