First appointment with fertility doc - what to expect

After 10 months TTC and 2 early miscarriages my OB thinks I may possible have a hormone issue as my periods are monthly but can vary by a week. I made and appointment with the fertility dr for tests. Can anyone tell me what to expect?
Also may be wishful thinking but I got a smiley face on the ovulation test today. Assuming I ovulate today I will be 12 DPO at the appointment - would the dr. see a pregnancy/swollen uturus that early if I am pregnant? with one of my miscarriages at 5.5 weeks the dr said he saw a swollen uturus which meant i miscarried or was like a few days pregnant but it was a miscarriage

I'm not sure if they will be able to tell if you are pregnant.

This is what happened to me with the RE though.When I first saw the RE with my hubs we filled out survey online. Mine took about 20mins, hubbs took about 5 mins. When we went in we basically answered all the questions again face to face with a couple more added in. Next hubs got a goodie bag for his SA and we both got orders for blood work. I also scheduled a trans-vaginal ultra sound. After the blood work came back they scheduled me for an HSG. After that you meet again face to face to talk about all the findings and set up a plan.
