First Doctors Appointment!!! & Questions

Hey Girlys

Well me and my DF went to the doctors today for our first joint appointment and it went absolutely great!!

The doctor was so lovely, explained everything to us perfectly!!!

He did my weight & hight
sending me for cycle day 2 and 21 bloods & regular bloods
sending me for a scan
and sending me for triple swabs i think he said.
and he is sending my DF for semen analysis

So it has gone brilliant and by this time next month i shall know if there is anything wrong with us which is one step closer to us getting the family we so desperatly want

So my questions are
What will they do at the scan, will it be internal or external?
and what are the swab tests, I think he said triple swab test but i couldnt understand him, he has a strong polish accent!.
And what are the swabs testing for?

hey!
glad docs went well, fxd all the tests come back ok. the scan will be internal as they get a clearer view of your uterus and ovaries. not sure about the swabs, good luck xxx

hey, scan will be for internal as was said to check if u have any polyps or other abnomalities. you will be seein it on a monitor. questions to ask him....POA after watever the results say. im sure he will send u for an HSG to check on your tubes. but hey dont worry. ask anything nomatter how dumb.
