I can't believe I finally get to post here! This has been a very surreal few days. Here's my story...

DH and I have been TTC since July 2014. After going off BCP at the end of May 2014, my cycles got steadily longer. By the end of November, I was on my longest cycle ever that ended up being 51 days. I decided to do whatever I could to fix my cycles, so I started temping to track ovulation better and I discovered Vitex. I started taking it on November 29 and got AF the next day, when I had no signs before that AF was approaching. That next cycle was 41 days, and then the next cycle was 33 days. Vitex worked amazingly well for me. I took 1200 mg for the first 90 days, then slowly tapered off until I was just taking 400mg.

Flash forward to my cycle that started March 21. I ovulated on CD 17, and at 3dpo started having a very grumbly, gassy belly. A couple of days later, I developed an itchy/sore rash on my right hip and right lower back. I thought they were bug bites, but they slowly got worse. A few days later, I found a swollen lymph node in my right groin on the side I ovulated. Then I developed a dry rough tongue, like a cat tongue. Also had some twinges in my uterus. I took a FRER and thought I could see a hint of a line. A couple of days after that, the symptoms started lessening. By Friday, April 17, I woke up with light pink spotting that very slowly increased to full-on AF by evening. I am convinced that I had a CP this cycle, and it was also my shortest yet at 27 days with just a 10-day LP. I was devastated.

But, the next cycle was my success story!! DH and I went on vacation to a beach resort in Mexico right around the time I was due to ovulate. We had a fabulous time, and I hoped that I would ovulate while on vacation. However, the stress of travel delayed my ovulation until CD 33, on May 19 - ten days after we got back home. I was feeling very pessimistic about the quality of my egg and whether my body had the right hormone levels, etc. Over the next two weeks, I was just waiting for AF to come. I was pretty sure there was no way I would get a BFP with a super long cycle like this. I also have a slow temp rise after O usually, so I was convinced I had an issue with my hormones and was planning to go see a fertility specialist. We even ordered a sperm analysis for DH, which he did at home on Monday and dropped it off at the lab. But last Sunday, May 31, my temp went up by 0.4 degrees after it had already been elevated post-O. I also had had a couple of days of dry/sticky CM that started to turn back to creamy. By Tuesday, I started having constipation issues, and more gas and cramps. I thought maybe AF was approaching, except my temp hadn't dropped like it usually does. Plus this LP was longer than usual. By 15 dpo, June 3, my temp was still up and I started feeling twinges and pressure in my uterus, not like AF. I took a cheapie test that evening and got my BFP!! I'm actually happy I was pessimistic during the tww so I didn't symptom spot or obsess. Yesterday, I took a FRER and another cheapie test and whoa the lines were so dark!

I definitely feel different, with lots of twinges and pressure in my uterus, sore boobs that feel firm and have been very - ahem - alert. Which is weird because I have small boobs. The constipation, gas, uterus pressure, boob changes, and barely-there nausea have been my symptoms so far. No rash or swollen lymph nodes, or cat tongue feeling, or even fatigue really. I have my first scan on July 6 at about 9 weeks. I can't wait!!

Here are my tests. Sorry for such a long post, but I figured including as many details as possible might help someone else who had long cycles like me! Good luck to all of you TTC-ers! I really, really hope my little seed sticks for 9 months!
