When Elijah first starts feeding I have like a dragging sensation, it's not painful but it isn't totally comfortable either. Any ideas please?

I think that's just him sucking hard to get the milk. My lo does this too especially if she's very hungry.

I'm experiencing the same thing with Leonardo towards the end of his feed. It makes my stomach turn x

I mentioned it the Doctor today and he said totally normal.

Totally normal. It can even tingle/sting. It should only be in the beginning when the milk starts flowing. I had it pretty strong (and yes, uncomfortable) for the first 3 months, and then it started to fade. Now when I feel the letdown and the milk is flowing well, its more of a relaxing feeling. Hard to explain. lol

My nurse told me the first five seconds can be painful, if it continues longer than that the latch isn't good.
