Hi Ladies, I have my first Gynae appointment this week and i'm quite nervous

We have been trying for a baby for almost 18 months... my cycles are very irregular and suddenly very light, i spot between periods also. My 21 day bloods showed no ovulation and a high LH

I only told my GP we were TTC in December, which shes wrote on the letter to gynae. So now i'm thinking thats going to mess up the chances of getting help. I've said we haven't used protection since September 2013.. I've just never felt comfortable telling our GP that we were TTC. I know it sounds foolish, I'm just a very personal person. Will the Gynae even give me a look in?

Of course your gynecologist will take a look and try to figure out why your cycles are so out of whack. Not ovulating is a big deal, there can be no baby with no follicle.

Hopefully you will feel comfortable enough with your new Dr to allow them to do the tests and workups to find out why your body is acting this way. Remember they are on your side and want to help you get healthy.

Wish you all the best.

Thank you very much for your reply, I think I may have posted this in the wrong section as there doesn't seem to be anybody replying? x

I think this is the right location however you will notice during the day sometimes it is slower as there are less LTTTCers than regular Ttc. Let it sit for a few days, or post in the TTC for additional eyes.

Good luck
