Hi ladies, just wondered if any more experienced opk users can just make sure I've got my head round these.... I didn't take a picture of yesterday's for some reason but it was similar to Monday. I thought I'd ov on Tuesday because I was getting sharp pain, yesterday's opk seemed lighter. Had some dull twinges in same area so took another opk today and it's stronger positive. I'm guessing this means I haven't actually ov yet? Thanks in advance for your help

Edit: forgot to mention I'm cd35 today, last month had a 40 day cycle (longest so far) most have been 30-35days. Had some dark but still negative opks around day 12 but got a cold and the test lines went light/non existent until about a week ago

Wow Hun, looks like your surge started on the 19th. I would get DTD as it looks like it's your peak surge today xx

Thanks for your reply, didn't think surges lasted for that long because I hear so much about ladies having to test a few times a day. I obviously must have long surges! Good job they only cost £1 a box been using them for over 20 days now!

Wow...well they say once enough get your first darker than test to stop testing...that first test means you've surged. So I'd say you got your surge on 20th and maybe ovulated the 21st. Good luck this cycle!!!

Hi again ladies thought I'd update, day 7 of +ve opk so i thoight I'd dip in a frer just in case as my boobs have been tender and the test line came up almost instantly! im so shocked and can't tell OH until he comes home from work at 6 because he wanted me to tell him in person
