first movements..

I have finally felt baby move, for almost a week and a half now and I feel it almost every other day! Sometimes I feel baby lower near my pelvic area then a few seconds later I feel baby near my belly button, could baby be doing flips in my tummy? . I was surprised to feel movement this often, I thought when you first started to feel movements it wasn't very often? I feel it either every other day or every two days. Though at our first U/S at 10w baby was kicking and waving and hiccuping (at least thats what it looked like), maybe baby is just quite the mover.

Congrats on feeling your bubba move!
I think every other day is relatively infrequent compared to how it will be in a few weeks! They'll kind of build up, and all of a sudden you'll realise that he/she is wriggling every other hour, more or less!

lol. if you can imagine someone tickling you from the inside....thats what it feels like for me.

i think i have an over hyperactive bubba.. the midwife said to me.. at one of my last appointments that once you get to about 24 weeks, you should be feeling them move about 10 times a day - not just kicks, just 10 fetal movements..
i feel her move 10 times in the space of 5 minutes!! me and OH counted once and she was kicked like 18 times, one after the otherr!!!
it's lovely when you do start to feel movement, it helps you bond so much and they give you reassuring movements to let you know their okay.. although i'm sure i get bullied by my LO! haha!
