First Name/Middle Name Suggestions to go with "Stevens"

Would love to get your ideas for first name/middle name combos for the last name "Stevens".

Definitely not Steven, anyway! Although i do know a Wil Williiams and an Owen Owens...i am from Wales after all!

What sort of names do you like? Traditional, modern, unique, biblical, classic, celtic?

I guess you need to think of it 'rolling off the tongue' I personally would go for a longer then a short name in front of Stevens.

Foe example (And I'm not saying this as a name....just an example) to me Benjamin John Stevens sounds better than John Benjamin Stevens....but its personal choice i guess.

for a girl i love the name Isla, but my oh doesnt like it....boo hoo!
Isla stephanie stevens sounds cute.
i can never think of any boys names....
Im not looking forward to name choosing i can never make my mind up on anything let alone names!

Sophia (Sophie for short) Mackenzie if it's a girl.
Logan Connor if it's a boy.

Oooh, well I love Izzy Stevens in Greys Anatomy, and that definitely works!!

I personally love Gabriella, Emma and Natasha for girls. For boys I like Aaron and Joshua. All sound really nice with Stevens (what a lovely surname to work with you lucky girl!!)

I also think Carrie is a great name!!

So this is what I decided to do...I found a website that lists 1,000 boys names and 1,000 girls name. I'm just about to give it to DH and ask him to circle the names he likes. Hopefully I like at least one of each sex!!! Wish me luck

I was just going to suggest a website for names. I use google and find so many baby name sites. Be sure to report back what you like!

So he started going through the list last night... these are the ones he likes that I am considering -

Jessica (Jesse for short)
Samantha (Sam, Sammy)
Christina (my sister's name, so we would spell it Kristina or Krystina)
Katherine (Kate for a nickname)
Sophie (one of my favorites).

I don't care much for the other ones he likes - so far (he still has half the list to go through). We will probably use my grandmother's middle name of "Rose".

As far as for boys' names, that's going to be easy. There are a lot of them that we both like -

Thomas (Tom, Tommy)
Christopher (my favorite)
Christian
David
Michael
Jacob (Jake for short)
Joseph.

We would use his dad's first name as a middle name - Louis...although if we use Thomas, I was thinking Thomas Jeffrey (his name) Louis Stevens (and call him TJ).

Any thoughts?

How funny Jeannie! We both love the name Sophie and definitely Rose for the middle name.

Stevens is a nice name to have to work with...Mine is 'Flemington' so we are trying to stick to short names or the kid will spends hours just writing his/her name!! xx
