first name to go with Maude?

We are expecting our 3rd baby girl and need a name for her!

I seem to lean towards names that have either an L or V in them. Because the middle name is most likely going to be Maude, I would prefer the first name to be a minimum of 2 syllables.

Also, no "fad" names like Kaylee, Kaitlyn, or other names that went through an extremely popular phase and have 100 different spelling variations.

Any help? whenever I look through baby name books my head just starts to spin and nothing sounds appealing!

Maude is quite traditional so what about something like Violet?

Should have added - I personally love the really old fashioned names and love L names myself. I loved Lucretia, and was considering Lavinia or Laetitia - they'd all go with Maude too

I like both Violet and Lavinia, but the husband is wanting something more traditional in the sense of "a name he's known someone with". I personally love the really classic, old fashioned names, but he doesn't want too unusual. However, I don't want too usual! ugh, so difficult!
