First period after MC

Dear old AF turned up a few days ago about 4 weeks after my miscarriage but it is horrendous - really heavy flow. Did anyone else have a really heavy first period after MC? Is this normal?

Yesmam! My period was super heavy first 2 days and then lightened up!

I just had my first AF after MC and for the first two days it was super heavy. Then, it just got really light and is completely gone after just 4 days. Interestingly enough though, no cramps or anything during it (which i usually get)...was very different from normal af

I had a heavy flow when I miscarried. My next period which was 32 days later was actually pretty light compared to my normal period. It was like the period flow that I had when I was on the pill as a teen.

I had my first AF 31 days after i miscarried and it was heavy for 2 days, then very light for a day, then it stopped. It came back 4 days later for like 2 days and then stopped. No cramping or anything (and i usually had that previously). Was definitely different than normal. Went to the dr yesterday and apparently its perfectly normal
